NYC PRODUCTIONS - PROP WEAPON POLICY UPDATE

AS OF 06/2022

Due to recent changes of the NYC Law pertaining to the possession and use of Spring Operated and Gas Operated Replica Weapons, (including theatrical use) effective 06/01/2022, we will only provide RUBBER REPLICA PROP WEAPONS for rental to any client or production working in the five boroughs of NYC.

In compliance with laws set forth by the City of New York, we are no longer legally permitted to provide our professionally modified spring and gas powered theatrical replicas to clients operating in the City of New York.

We strongly encourage everyone filming in NYC to contact the NYPD Movie & Television Unit for current policies and guidance for the theatrical use of prop firearms prior to renting.

Prop Pistol Function and Demonstration

Gas powered fully functioning simulation firearm. Features sliding upper, blow back on trigger pull, ejectable magazine and slide-lock.

Set-safe with no projectile risk, low volume action noise and ideal for interior shots without the use of hearing protection.

We carry multiple models with similar action and features including Glocks and Smith and Wessons varients.

Gas operated fully functioning double action revolver prop with removable / insertable prop rounds.

Set-safe non-projectile action with low volume action noise.

H&K VP9 with Silencer

Gas powered fully functioning simulation firearm.
